About Bansko

Bankso is a beautiful, climatic mountain resort with a short summer and long winter situated right below the highest and most beautiful part of the "Pirin" mountains (a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site). The resort has excellent snow conditions with great snow cover from mid December right through until May.

Ski Area

The excellently maintained slopes are accessed from Bansko via a new "state of the art - Doppelmayer" gondola lift and provides all levels of skiing and snow boarding that will suit both beginners through to experts.

Bansko hosts the best and largest ski school in the region with highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors ranging from beginners to advanced ski and snowboard.
